Portrait artists i have studied
I have studied many portrait artists but the portrait artist i might have admired and studied most is Rembrandt.
His portraits has always been my favorites. I have studied a lot of portrait artists as i already have mentioned and
in my opinion there has existed a lot of very clever portrait artists. Nowadays it is very easy to study portrait artists
on the internet. You can sit at home in the parlor or somewhere else and study a portrait painted many years ago only
by clicking around. It is pretty fantastic when you think about it.
Among artists in our time i have study is a wellknown Norwegian artist called Odd Nerdrum. It is not right to call him
a portrait artist since he is painting so much else than portraits, but when he paints portraits he do it very well. I would
say almost at the same level as Rembrandt.
Other portrait artists i have studied is artists like Leonardo da Vinci, Caravaggio, Raphael, and Rubens.
