Oil portraits

This oil painting portrait is as most of my portraits painted using oil colours.
I have used other kind of colours earlier, but during the last years i have only painted with oil. This oil painting portrait was a commision portrait ordered by the norwegian defence. I used a digital photo when i painted this portrait.

An oil painting portrait like this i would guess i used about four weeks to finish.
I was trying to do portrait like this fulltime, but there is not enough interest nowadays for oil painting portrait.
