Flowergirl oil painting

This painting is painted using a combination of a digital photo and some fantasy. I found a photo of this girl on the internet.
The clouds is also painted using a photo i found.

I came up with the title "Flowergirl" the same day the painting was finished. Sometimes i think it is hard to find a suitable title, but on
this painting it was pretty easy. I had some other suggestions at
first, like: "left alone", "Harmonica" and "thinking". At first i liked
the name Harmonica, but i figured it could be interpreted to the instrument called Harmonica.

My thoughts connected to this painting has been about trying to
make this little girl look wise and strong, even though she is alone,
or maybe left alone. She is maybe sitting there with thoughts of eternity, thoughts that is too early for her to be thinking. But since she is there all alone, no one can make her mind go in another direction.

The good thing is that it looks like she has no problem with these thoughts. It looks like she is in harmony. (that is why i came up
with the name harmonica at first).

I have struggled for a long time to get this painting finished.
I am not sure why. But some paintings will sometimes not
cooperate.

Now that it is finished, i think it looks pretty fine. I like the
colours and the combination of light and dark parts.
As you can see, the painting has also a combination of soft
edges and more sharp edges.
